Beach Buddies
Enjoy the many area beaches with fellow Newcomer members on a once-a-month excursion that always includes lunch.
Bike/Lunch
Beginner and avid cyclists alike appreciate the many trails available to them within the Manatee, Pinellas, and Sarasota counties. A once-a-month wonderful day of cycling and a stop for lunch.

Gather with fellow Newcomers for a once-a-month get together to discuss the group’s monthly book recommendation. This group just keeps on growing.

Ladies
Join the ladies of Newcomers on one Saturday a month for a breakfast outing at different local restaurants. A great way to get to know new friends and places.

Bridge/Pairs
Join members in playing this classic game; socializing and having fun are the primary objectives. Couples Bridge meets evenings once a month for social bridge - bring your spouse or friend.

Want an afternoon of getting to know new friends? This game is the perfect opportunity to do just that. Fun and friendship is this game’s objective.

Day Trippers
Day trippers travel to sites within one to two hours of Sarasota: museums, Solomon's Castle, Port Charlotte village, etc. Top-down sports car enthusiasts enjoy this one. Couples or singles, if you want to see what's in our area, this is the group for you. Join us. We've planned this month's adventure.
Dining In
Dining in is an opportunity for eight people, couples, or singles, to get together monthly and enjoy dinners in each other's homes.
Dining Out
Dining out is an opportunity for eight people, couples and singles, to get together monthly, share appetizers or dessert at each other's homes and try out new and interesting local restaurants.
Golf/Ladies
While some golfers are serious about their game, this group is more about being out with friends and a good lunch. This group meets twice a month at various local golf courses.
Golf/Men
There is always room for more players in the men’s group. This group meets twice a month at local golf courses.
Kayaking
During the day or under the stars, Newcomers can be seen kayaking on local waterways. Join them as they discover the local flora and wildlife along Sarasota's intercoastal and Gulf waters.
Lunch Bunch
Meet at area restaurants once a month and get to know those great lunch places all over
town while getting to know your fellow Newcomers better.
Mah Jongg
This ancient game is huge among fellow Sarasota Newcomers. Join the game and don’t miss out.
Movie Mavens
Some members just love seeing movies the way they were meant to be seen--in the movie theater. There’s always room for any member wanting to join the group for movies and/or dinner.
Music Lovers
